RESUMO

Vibronic coupling is a critical mechanism in chemical reactions. However, its quantitative evaluation is challenging due to mathematical complexity and programming difficulty, and its experimental proof is often elusive due to overlap among neighboring states. Here, after exciting a vibrational level (ν = 0, 1, 2) of the intermediate N 1s→πg* core-excited state in N2 molecules, we separate the resonant Auger decay channels that lead to the lowest dissociation limit in the two-dimensional energy correlation maps. From three kinetic energy release spectra of these channels at different vibrational quantum numbers, we give the first experimental proof of the vibronic coupling between two resonant Auger final states 12Πg and 22Πg.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the 3-tiered treatment model for medical treatment after an earthquake. METHODS: Based on the practices of the national emergency medical rescue services in the Lushan earthquake zone, the 3-tiered treatment classification approach was retrospectively reviewed. RESULTS: Medical rescue teams assembled and reported quickly to the disaster areas after the earthquake. The number of injured people had reached 25,176 as of April 30; of these, 18,611 people were treated as outpatients, 6565 were hospitalized, and 977 were seriously or severely injured. CONCLUSIONS: The 3-tiered treatment model was the main approach used by rescue services after the Lushan earthquake. Primary and secondary treatments were of the highest importance and formed the basis of the Lushan model of earthquake rescue and treatment. RESUMO

The accumulated data indicate that there is significant genetic heterogeneity underlying the etiology of silicosis. Recent reports have revealed that microRNAs (miRNAs) play an important role in regulating pulmonary fibrosis. This study, therefore, aimed to identify some miRNAs as biomarkers for silicosis, and to explore the early diagnostic value of biomarkers for silicosis. Total RNAs were collected from the peripheral blood leukocytes of 23 silicosis patients and 23 healthy controls, the different miRNAs were screened using microarrays. The potential biomarker miRNAs were identified by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Eighteen differential miRNAs in leukocytes were up-regulated and twenty differential miRNAs were down-regulated in the silicosis group, compared with the control group. The expression levels of miR-181a and miR-19a were 0.8854 ± 0.1037 and 0.2929 ± 0.0342 by the relative quantitation method 2(-△△CT) of qPCR, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity for miR-181a at a cut-off value of 1.8917 were 70% and 75%, respectively, whereas, those for miR-19a at a cut-off value of 3.6828 were 95% and 95%, respectively. Thus, miR-19a in peripheral blood leukocyte could be used as an effective biomarker for silicosis. Anat Rec, 299:1300-1307, 2016. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
